What happens when you remove a collective, or leave Cloosi entirely.
Deleting a collective
Owners can delete a collective from the Account page. Click the delete icon next to the collective, then confirm by typing DELETE in the window that opens — this makes sure it's intentional.
- Deleting removes the collective from Cloosi completely — it disappears from the directory, search, and artist profiles.
- Member artists aren't affected. Their profiles and music stay exactly as they are; they're simply no longer listed as part of that collective.
- Deleting a collective doesn't delete your account or any other collectives you own.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from your Account page. Deletion is soft at first:
- Your account is archived for 30 days. During that window, signing in can restore it if you change your mind.
- After 30 days, the account is permanently removed — including any collectives you own.
- Anything you purchased is never deleted. Tracks you bought remain available to you even after your account is gone.
Switching from artist to listener
If you'd rather keep your account but stop being an artist, you can switch your profile to a listener account instead of deleting anything. Like deletion, the switch is archived for 30 days before it becomes final.
